NIVES is our acronym for the Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital.  

The Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency Specialty Hospital is committed to the highest quality 24-hour intensive and specialty care for small animals. Our hospital and staff are fully dedicated to enhancing the unique relationship between humans and companion animals by providing the best care possible. We serve veterinarians and pet owners of the tri-state region as a referral center for competent, compassionate, and timely veterinary care.
 

The mission of our hospital is to provide the highest quality emergency and specialty medicine for small animals.  We are committed to serving the veterinarians and pet owners of the tri-state region as a referral center for competent, compassionate and timely care. Our hospital features 24-hour urgent care emergency service and a team of board certified and residency-trained specialists.  A team of technical support staff is available at all times.  We are proud to have achieved full accreditation with the American Animal Hospital Association.  Our Goal is to have an interactive relationship with our referring veterinarians, our clients and their pets.  We are here around the clock to service your specialty and critical care needs.

Referral Appointments:  Consultations with our specialists are made on a referral basis. Appointments are held Monday thru Friday by appointment. To set up an appointment with one of our Board Certified Specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, or Cardiology, please have your primary care veterinarian call our office to set up a referral.
